We had the privilege of shooting a wedding video for Jenna & Ryan’s big day on Friday 1st August. It was a fun-filled day of laughs and heart-warming moments, including some really funny speeches. Always great to be able to create some wedding videography around such upbeat and lively people.
As I’ve mentioned before, the Speeches are one of our favourite parts of a wedding day and the speeches at Jenna & Ryan’s wedding were up to par!
Russ and I were also pleased to meet and work alongside a fellow lover of the image in Paul Willetts, the awesome photographer behind Paul Willetts Photography. All of the cracking images you see here in this post are Paul’s work!
The day started early with bridal preparations at the couple’s house in Droitwich and groom preparations at the venue nearby. And what a venue it is! Chateau Impney is a fantastic place to get married and the beautiful gardens lend themselves to captivating photography, as you can see from Paul’s work here.
If you don’t know Droitwich, it’s a small town in Worcestershire, based just a few miles from Worcester.
The ceremony took place at St Peter’s Church, a quint little church in Droitwich, before the reception moved back to Chateau Impney.
The wedding car that brought the newly-married couple from the church to the venue was a great touch and gave the day a bit of a vintage feel. Back at the venue, local musician Dan Greenaway serenaded guests with some well known tunes.
As we mentioned at the start, the speeches were some of the funniest we’ve seen and the heart-warming moments were touching as well. Both the bride and groom were clearly very emotional as their friends and family came up one-by-one to remember some of their fondest memories.
Next, it was time to DANCE! 🙂
All in all, a fantastic day we took great pleasure in filming. Being surrounded by positive people makes the wedding videography process really shine.
Here’s what Jenna & Ryan said about working with us:
“A massive thank you to Russ and Matt who filmed our magical day! They were a brilliant team and captured some amazing moments from our day! Everyone commented on how professional they were and how they liaised with the photographer to ensure they were spread around the venue! Then they produced a high quality clip and a beautiful final video that we will treasure forever!! Again a massive thank you and we would highly recommend Shoot The Piano Player. Jenna and Ryan”
