Shoot The Piano Player Wedding Videos are happy to announce that we now offer aerial wedding videography as a service offering!
This is just a quick blog post to introduce the new service offering and give our clients a better understanding of this type of wedding videography and what’s involved.
Some people may have heard this type of videography described as aerial or or drone videography. With the advent of more robust camera systems and better drone engineering, the use of drones in videography is now quite commonplace.
We can now use equipment that flies high above your wedding, capturing proceedings from a bird’s eye view. This is awesome for adding an even more cinematic look to your wedding video
At Shoot The Piano Player Wedding Videos, we enjoy shooting all kinds of different types of wedding videos and adding aerial wedding videography to the mix is a real thrill for us!
Aerial Wedding Videography Facts
Aerial videography consists of a camera (usually a DSLR camera, but sometimes a GoPro) attached to a remote controlled mini-helicopter.
It’s especially notable that aerial videography offers a unique perspective of your big day that no one else gets to see.
You’ve most likely seen this effect in sports coverage and wildlife documentaries, as well as Hollywood movies.
This video gives an idea of what the footage looks like (note: this video not ours):
Footage from the cameras on the drones will be included with the rest of the footage we capture on the day. This way, we can edit this variety of shots together to produce something even more magical!
What Will Be Involved?
Aerial/drone videography will add a great touch to your wedding video. You see these kind of shots all the time in Hollywood films and this type of videography adds to the “production value” of your video.
There are a few considerations when you consider aerial wedding videography for your big day:
– Shoot The Piano Player Wedding Videos will be offering this as an optional extra. It won’t be included as standard in our packages. Therefore, clients will need to specifically request aerial videography.
– Drones cannot fly in certain weather conditions – these include very wet or windy days.
– An inspection of the venue and surrounding area will need to be conducted to make sure health and safety issues are covered.
As I said right at the start of this blog post, we’re extremely happy to be able to offer aerial/drone videography to our service offerings. You can see some samples of previous work we’ve done to see us in action here.
In order to have this option for their weddings, clients will be required to specifically request it, as it will be an extra not included in our standard packages.
We’ll be looking to add our aerial wedding videography service offerings to our Brochure very soon!
We film wedding videos in all around Worcestershire and Birmingham, as well as all over the UK.
Rent A Drone to shoot aerial wedding pictures and videos now is an effective way.
Property drone pictures videos and filming is an awesome process also. I think it may be spread through public for broadcasting the way.
